i am art will be a weekly (and free) art workshop for students age 12 to 17. i am art will serve any type of art student and will be open to the public.

Classes consist of:

-6 week courses that continue throughout the entire school year   

-Weekly 1-hour art workshops

-Professional art instruction

The curriculum will include:

-Specific instruction in the class medium-Professional mentorship

-Techqniues to improve, or enhance, craft

-How to make connections in the local art industry

-How to show work in a gallery setting

-How to maintain a positive attitude in the art industry

i am art will be offered for art students in the Salt Lake City area and will commence in the fall of 2012. This program will work intandum with the Artist Circuit.
